CHFA submission on a National Regulatory System for community housing providers

This submission is based on discussions and feedback from CHFA’s members and CHFA policy positions on regulation of the community housing sector. The submission articulates a number of changes that CHFA believes need to be made to the proposed legislation and supporting documentation. It is our hope that the work currently being undertaken to develop a nationally consistent regulatory system for the community housing sector will lay the foundations for a system that can respond to future changes and challenges faced by the sector, and continue to be built upon over time.
