CSHA community housing national data collection reports

A series of documents that report on community housing assistance under the Commonwealth-State Housing Agreement since 2000.

 

CSHA community housing bulletin (in progress) A 20 page document that provides a description of the community housing sector, highlighting what distinguishes community from other forms of social housing.

 

National Housing Data Agreement (NHDA) community housing workshop report (2004) This report reflects the discussions at the workshop, outlines issues surrounding the collection of data and identifies options to improve future collections.

A flyer that outlines key results from the 2002 Community Housing National Social Housing survey.

Community housing mapping project. Summary report prepared for the National Community Housing Forum (1999) A detailed report on the first survey of key aspects of community housing in Australia. The survey was undertaken in June 1998 and the results describe the amount and distribution of community housing , the organisations managing community housing, the properties and the tenants. Copies of the report are available through the National Community Housing Forum.

National Housing Data Agreement Community Housing Communication Strategy

Strategy developed to identify appropriate communication tools that will assist in developing a culture that values the collection and analysis of quality community housing data.

 

What are the benefits and uses of good quality data in the community housing sector? A fact sheet that outlines what is good quality data, why collect national community housing data, how good quality data can be achieve and maintained and how it can help community housing organisations.

 

Use of data standards in the CSHA community housing data collection A pamphlet that outlines what data standards are, why they are important, how they are developed and used.

 

Play your part in building a better picture of community housing (in progress) A poster highlighting the importance of sector contribution in reporting information alongside other stakeholders.
