Community
Housing providers are non-profit organisations (eg. community, local
government and
religious
groups) which provide housing assistance
to low income families and individuals. These providers can be funded
under the Commonwealth State Housing
Agreement
(CSHA) or by other means. Community
housing data are produced from a range of data sources including survey
data (e.g CSHA community housing survey, National Social Housing Survey)
and administrative data. Below are links to information and data based on these sources. It should be noted
that survey response rates may influence the results reported and that the information may not be
comparable across states due to varying survey response rates and the
considerable variation in the way
community housing operates.
